Terms & Conditions
Please read these terms carefully before using our website and services.

1. Introduction and Acceptance
These terms and conditions govern your use of the UK Debt Centre website, which is operated by My Debt Help Ltd (company number 15590517), registered at Eurogate Business Park, Unit 1, Ashford, Kent, England, TN24 8XW.
By accessing our website or using our services, you confirm that you accept these terms and agree to comply with them. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use our website or services.
We may revise these terms at any time by updating this page. Please check this page regularly to ensure you are aware of any changes, as they are binding on you.
2. Our Services
Important: UK Debt Centre is operated by My Debt Help Ltd who are not authorised to provide debt advice. Upon completion of our form your details will be passed to one of our authorised debt solution partners who will review your financial situation, explain the available options and recommend a debt solution which is suitable for you. We will be paid for introducing you or for the preparatory work we do, depending on your debt solution fees may be payable if ongoing services are provided.
Our service to you is limited to the following:
- Providing an online form that collects details of your financial situation
- Introducing you to an authorised debt solution partner who we believe may be able to help you
- Passing the details you give us to that partner
Everything beyond that introduction is provided by the partner, not by us. They will review your circumstances, explain the options available, recommend a debt solution, and — if you proceed — set up, administer and supervise it. Any Insolvency Practitioner involved in a formal arrangement is appointed by the partner. My Debt Help Ltd does not employ an Insolvency Practitioner and does not administer or supervise any debt solution.
The information provided on our website is for general guidance only and does not constitute debt advice or regulated financial advice. Nothing on this website is a recommendation that any particular debt solution is suitable for you — only your partner adviser can tell you that, after reviewing your circumstances.
You do not have to use us to reach a debt solution, and you can approach a debt advice provider directly. Free debt advice is available from services such as MoneyHelper, StepChange, or Citizens Advice, and we will signpost you to them where appropriate.
3. Eligibility
To use our services, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be a resident of England, Wales, or Northern Ireland (Scottish residents may be subject to different insolvency legislation)
- Have unsecured debts that you are struggling to repay
Specific debt solutions may have additional eligibility criteria, which will be explained to you during your initial assessment.
4. Your Responsibilities
When using our services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information about your financial circumstances, including all debts, income, and expenditure
- Inform your partner promptly of any changes to your financial circumstances that may affect your debt solution
- Cooperate fully with your partner adviser and any appointed Insolvency Practitioner
- Make agreed payments on time as required by your debt solution
- Not provide false or misleading information, which may constitute a criminal offence under insolvency legislation
Failure to meet these responsibilities may result in the failure of your debt solution and could have serious consequences for your financial situation and credit rating.
5. Our Obligations
Our obligations reflect our limited role. We are not your adviser, so we do not promise you advice — we promise you an honest introduction. We will:
- Tell you plainly that we do not provide debt advice, and that we are paid to introduce you
- Only introduce you to debt solution partners who are authorised to advise you
- Tell you who we have passed your details to
- Handle your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation
- Signpost the free debt advice available to you, including MoneyHelper
- Never sell your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes
Your partner has its own obligations to you, which arise from its own authorisation and are owed by it rather than by us. Those include acting in your best interests, ensuring advice is given by suitably qualified staff, explaining the advantages, disadvantages and risks of each option, and setting out all fees before you commit.
6. Fees and Charges
What you pay us: Nothing. There's no charge for using our form and no obligation to proceed.
How we are paid: My Debt Help Ltd is paid by our debt solution partners for introducing you to them, or for the preparatory work we carry out. That payment comes from the partner, not from you, and it does not depend on which solution you enter.
What your partner may charge: Depending on the debt solution you enter, fees may be payable to your partner if ongoing services are provided. Those fees are set, explained and charged by the partner, not by us. They will set out all fees in full before you agree to proceed.
Individual Voluntary Arrangements (IVAs): If you enter into an IVA through a partner, fees will be payable to the Insolvency Practitioner appointed to set up and supervise the arrangement. Full details of all fees, including the nominee fee, supervisor fee, and any other costs, will be set out in your IVA proposal before you agree to proceed, and are subject to approval by your creditors as part of the IVA process.
7. Limitation of Liability
While we take every reasonable care to ensure that the information on our website is accurate, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes for your debt situation, and we do not guarantee that a partner will offer you any particular solution. The success of any debt solution depends on a number of factors, including creditor approval and your continued compliance with the terms of your arrangement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, My Debt Help Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of our website or services.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law.
The content on our website is provided for general information purposes only and should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional advice tailored to your individual circumstances. The debt solution partner we introduce you to is responsible for the advice it gives you and for the service it provides; we are not responsible for the acts or omissions of that partner.

10. Termination
You may stop using our website at any time. If you wish to cancel any debt solution, the process for doing so will depend on the type of arrangement and will be explained to you by your partner.
We may suspend or restrict your access to our website or services if we reasonably believe you have breached these terms, provided false or misleading information, or if we are required to do so by law.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
